I’m really thinking of having the wheels powder coated white to match the white top and white stripes. I’ve done this before and it really makes a car special. That will take an extra week to have done so if you want this car quickly, you need to let me know so I don’t have the extra week in having it done.
For those of you who think you can do what I do for less money, you can’t! I recently called La Mesa RV here in Phoenix and asked them what they would charge to convert my Mini Cooper to tow behind a motorhome. First. I talked to the parts department for a Blue OX tow system. The cheapest blue ox tow bar and bracket system they have is $685. Then they connected me to the service department and the service department charges for an average Mini Cooper 18 hours labor at $240 an hour. That’s over $4300 just for the towing and the electrical! Then you’ve gotta add all of the things that I do to the cars.
